  Good question!
  
  It’s certainly something I’m very aware of in the area of research I’m in – we’re actively trying to invent things that can slow down or stop the amount of pollution we put into the atmosphere. If the Earth’s average temperature continues to rise as it has for the last 100 years or so, then we will be in real trouble!
