      That’s a good question! I can’t answer on behalf of everyone, but I really like the look of carved wood – the patterns and colours you get can be amazing! I have a guitar that’s entirely hand-made out of wood, and I love the look of that! I know a lot of people who are actively avoiding new materials in favour of traditional ones like wood and cloth and leather – they don’t like a lot of the new materials that are out there, they don’t look ‘natural’.
