• Question: Do you think we will be colonising other planets within the next couple of millennia?

      That’s really tough – there are a lot of uncertainties in what might happen over the next few millenia!

      However, I think that given that we are currently considering sending people to Mars, I think it’s highly likely that we’ll have small colonies on the moon or Mars in the next few hundred years – remember that it’s only 50 years since we landed on the Moon, so who knows what we can achieve in another 100, let alone 1000 years!

      I think that human curiosity will continue to drive us to explore the solar system, and I’m sure that evenutally that will mean some of us live elsewhere in our solar system!
