• Question: does being stubborn help you being a scientist

      Hahahahaha XD. You could say so, yeah, I guess. As I said earlier, I am the kind of stubborn who insists on a problem until he solves it – so, since finding answers to questions and solving problems is pretty much what being a scientist about, that makes me persistent! Of course this does not mean I always get to find a solution sooner or later – sometimes I simply lack the means to do so (for example some experimental machine I don’t have and can’t get access to), and sometimes I’m forced to abandon a line of research to focus on a different one (you can’t do too many things at once!). When that happens, it’s very frustrating for me! But in general, I don’t like surrendering to the fact that I simple don’t know or can’t understand something – and this helps, sure!
