• Question: have you ever disected a chicken?

      Well, I’ve carved a roast chicken for Sunday dinner before, but I don’t think that counts…

      I had to dissect a few things at school – we did a rat, a mackerel, a cow’s heart and an earthworm. The rat was by far the least pleasant of these as it had been pickled in a chemical called ‘formaldehyde’ first – very smelly!
