• Question: how far can lazers shoot what distance

      If you were to fire a laser, the light from it will keep travelling in the same direction you fired it until it hits something, so in theory it can travel to the edge of the universe!

      The problem is that unless you have a beam that’ really tightly focussed then it will spread out the farther it travels, making it harder to see or detect.
