According to an online Oxford dictionary it is:
“The intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment”

Which is alot better than what I would have said off the top of my head.

Can’t argue with the Oxford dictionary!! For me, science is having an idea about how something works, testing it through an experiment and then seeing whether you were right, or whether your idea needs to change! Pretty similar, I guess 🙂

For me, it’s all investigation how the world around us works! I don’t think I could say it better than the Oxford dictionary either, that’s a great definition!

I agree with the answers Alexander, Josh and Stuart have given. For me – science is all about observation and investigation. Using experiments to test theories and then rethinking those theories if necessary!
