• Question: where your parents scientists

      Hi seanlarkin and morgage,
      Nope.
      My dad was a lift engineer (although that did have a bit of science involved with it) and my mum was a secretary. Going by my extended family, I’m not off scientific stock so-to-speak but my older brother is a computer scientist/physicist, I’m a chemist and my younger brother is surprisingly a microbiologist lol.

      Hi,

      Neither of my parents were scientists – my mum is an accountant and my dad is retired from the Highways Agency. As far as I’m aware I’m the first scientist in the family!
