      Good question! The cars that we drive at the moment mostly burn petrol or diesel in order to move. These both come from oil that we pump out of the ground, and as you might know there is only a limited amount of oil in the ground and it will run out one day. We need to replace the fuel we use in cars with something that will never run out and hydrogen is one possible way we could do this.

      You get hydrogen from water and when you burn it, you get the same amount of water you used to make it back out. So, as long as we have water we have an unlimited supply of hydrogen! We just need to find a way of making the hydrogen cheaply and without using resources that will run out one day. That’s why I look at using sunlight, as if the sun goes out driving around will be the least of our problems!
