• Question: why did you chose spending the money on vehicles

      Hi skyeshannon! Thanks for the question 🙂

      If I was lucky enough to be awarded the prizemoney, I’d like to spend it on a day where students like you can come and learn about the science and technology behind cars of today and the new cars of the future.

      I decided that this might be a good idea because driving around in a car is something most of us do all the time, without really thinking about the science that makes it happen, or the environmental effects of what we do. So I thought it would be cool to get students to have a play around with some experiments that relate to car technology.

      I think you could do some great experiments making a battery, or splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen and driving a hydrogen car. If you have any suggestions for things you think would be a good way to spend the money, it’d be great to hear them 🙂
