• Question: Why do we get hiccups?

      That’s a good question, and I don’t think we’re really sure why we get hiccups. It’s been suggested that it’s a way for the body to get air out of the stomach, particularly for babies when they’re having milk. But at the moment it’s still not really sure.

      One thing everyone seems to be sure about is that they have the best way to cure hiccups! Scaring people, drinking water upside down, biting lemon, eating sugar….the list is endless!! 🙂
