Question: How close are you to having an artificial leaf model ready for mass production?

That’s a really good question! Realistically we’re a good 10 years away from the first commercial product, there’s still a lot of research to be done to work out how best to make these things and how all of the parts work together. One of the main challenges is getting them to last for a long time – the best devices at the minute only last maybe a day at most in sunlight before they stop working!
