• Question: what do you wear to your work? do you work in a lab?

      Hi parsajohn! Thanks for the question 🙂

      I’m lucky that as a research student, I can wear pretty much whatever I like to work, people are very relaxed about it (within reason, of course!).

      The only restriction on what I wear is that if I’m going to be in the lab then I have to wear covered shoes in case anything spills in the lab. I then wear protective clothes in the lab, a lab coat, goggles and gloves. If you check out my profile there’s a picture of me in my lab.

      My days are normally divided between looking at results in my office, and doing experiments in the lab.
