• Question: why dont we remember our fetus days when we in the womb

      Some people do claim to remember it, although I don’t think it’s very easy to test this!

      Whilst you’re in the womb, your brain, your body, and therefore all your senses are still developing i.e. they don’t work properly. This would mean that your brain isn’t necessarily capable of processing and understanding what’s going on around it at that early stage in your life. You don’t fully develop the ability to remember specific things (something called ‘declarative memory’) and events until you’re around 2-3 years old.
