• Question: will eco cars be expensive?

      Hello, 11gedyt1! That’s an important question. At the moment, the answer is definitely YES! The hydrogen cars you can get at the moment will cost you somewhere in the area of £100,000! And that’s actually lots cheaper than they used to be!

      Part of the reason they’re so expensive is that not many of them are being made at the moment. When you start to make lots of something, the price normally comes down. But, the technology in the cars is still too expensive at the moment. Part of the work I’m doing is to try and make a cheap material to work in the car. I’m pretty sure that the cost will come down to something more reasonable pretty quickly, but I’m definitely an optimist 😀
